  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt

  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

  2. Shape mixture into a loaf and place in a greased baking dish.
  3. Bake for 45 minutes.
  4. Spread mashed potatoes over the loaf and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  5. Return to oven and bake an additional 15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Let rest 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
