Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl combine shredded chicken, uncooked rice, chicken broth, softened cream cheese, frozen mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish and spread the mixture evenly.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 15‑20 minutes until rice is tender and casserole is bubbly.
- Let cool a few minutes before serving.
